Our new GTD2872VRK (Vacuum) is the ultimate Turbo choice for the the M57N engines

Although the upgrade sounds an extreme step up from the GT2260V the latest (Generation 5) GTD VNT System, Ball Bearings and Wheel Designs will out preform and spool similar to our previous GTB2566VK

Converted to Vacuum Actuator using a Short VNT17 Lever and supplied with Brand New Vacuum Actuator and Adjustable Laser Cut & CNC Folded Stainless Actuator Bracket

Our GTD2872VRK Hybrid offers the largest wheels that can be fitted into the E9X GT2260V shell and work effectively

This is the same size turbo used on our Seat Arosa and proven to produce over 400bhp (Without Nos) and over 500bhp (With Nos) with the right supporting modifications. 

 

Fitment
This turbocharger is based on the newer E90 platform turbocharger but converted to vacuum to suit the E46 platform engines with the addition of the E90 cast manifold

Additional parts i.e Downpipe, Boost Pipes, Oil Feed and Return may need modifying or custom parts


Lead Time
Please expect around a 6 week lead time on these turbochargers unless otherwise discussed

 

Here is a comparison of the various wheel sizes of the popular turbochargers, alongside the GTB and GTD Series turbochargers. Bare in mind that the GTD turbos have the latest 5th Generation VNT System, which is far superior to the previous systems, resulting in quicker spool and lower manifold pressures at high RPMs compared to older Gen Turbo's

Above is also a rough guide to what sort of power you can expect from each turbo, with a comparison to other popular turbochargers. This is assuming you have the appropriate supporting modifications for the individual turbocharger. The power figures are what is considered achievable under 'safe' parameters (Injection Duration, Exhaust Gas Temperature and Exhaust Manifold Pressures). Greater power has been achieved in the past with each setup, but in many cases this was pushing many of the components past their safe operating limits
