What Is BC Racing?

BC Racing is the performance suspension brand of Taiwan Bor-Chuann, a manufacturer that has been producing shock absorbers since 1999. The company originally focused on OEM and ODM production before launching the BC Racing brand in 2004 and expanding into international markets.

BC Racing’s background in OEM and ODM shock absorber manufacturing is still reflected in how its suspension is developed today. Rather than starting with a generic coilover design, each application is based on measurements taken from the factory suspension, including damper dimensions, spring data, ride height, and installation requirements.

Manufacturing is carried out in Taiwan, with processes such as precision tube cutting, honing, and threading used to control the tolerances within the damper. This is particularly important on BC’s monotube design, where the internal finish and accuracy of the damper body directly affect how consistently the suspension performs.
