Videographer and Social Media Creator

Job Purpose

To plan, create and edit engaging social media content for our fast growing channels, including YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.
The successful candidate will complement our existing team, where we want to increase the volume of content we can produce.
The role will be based at our office facility within Darkside Developments. We are not looking for remote workers.

Role Specifics

Salary - £15,000 - £20,000+ (Depending on Skills, Experience and Equipment)

Duties and Responsibilities

Creating concepts for new content and planning their execution
Create the content via film and photography
Edit the content into engaging experiences for our customers
Work within our team to develop new ideas and products based on feedback from existing content

Adobe Premier Pro Editing Suite (or similar)

TIG Welder / Fabricator

Job Purpose

Position is currently filled but we can find work for the right person.

We are looking for the best Fabricator / TIG Welder candidates possible that will require minimal training of the skills required to carry out the specific role, if you don't have all of the necessary skills listed please do not apply. They will also work closely with the Parts Department and Service Workshop departments to ensure fluidity towards achieving our goal of exceptional customer service.

Role Specifics

Salary £20,000 - £30,000 (Depending on Experience)

Duties and Responsibilities

Fabricating using Mainly TIG with some MIG
Fabricating with Stainless Steel, Mild Steel and Aluminium Tube
Fabricating Tubular Manifolds, Custom Exhaust Systems using Stainless Steel
Fabricating Boost Pipes using Aluminium

CAD Engineer / Design Engineer

Job Purpose

This role would suit a CAD Engineer / Design Engineer with experience, Ideally in the Automotive sector. A great opportunity to work alongside both experienced Machinists and Fabricators. There is a genuine opportunity to grow within a company where your efforts will be not only noticed but rewarded.
The successful candidate will complement our existing design team, producing 2D and 3D drawings for in-house manufacturing.
The role will be based at our office facility within Darkside Developments. This work includes reverse engineering of factory hardware.

Role Specifics

Salary £25,000+ (Depending on Experience)

Duties and Responsibilities

Understanding the requirements of the customer’s projects and developing engineering specifications.
Developing equipment designs through CAD and prototyping.
Testing and development of hardware produced
Reverse engineering
Development of processes
Specifying and sourcing materials

Qualifications

Skills and Abilities

Experience of using - Software;
Fusion 360
Autodesk/Featurecam (CAD CAM)
Solid Edge (Modelling)
Experience of using the following Equipment would be beneficial;
HAAS VF4 (X2) - 4th Axis, through coolant, high speed
HAAS ST30 - Lathe, Programmable Tailstock

Computer Science Engineer / Powertrain Calibration and Development Engineer

Job Purpose

Put simply, Tuning cars!

This role would suit a Software Engineering or Computer Science Graduate with experience in Engineering. A great opportunity to work alongside with both an experienced Powertrain Calibration Software Solutions Engineer and self-employed Software Developers. There is a genuine opportunity to grow within a company where your efforts will be not only noticed but rewarded.
The role will be based at our office facility within Darkside Developments. We perform a wide variety of tuning work from remapping of stock customer vehicles for improved performance, to making the latest OEM ECUs work with modified hardware such as larger turbochargers, injectors and fuel pumps on high power street and track/competition vehicles, including our 9 second Seat Arosa drag car. This work includes reverse engineering of factory software, file interpretation, on vehicle tuning and research, as well as road, dyno and track side testing.
This role will suit a candidate with an engineering or computer science background. Knowledge gaps can be filled, and ideally we are looking for someone who can bring something new to the team. Aside from the main role, there will be an opportunity for a variety of work depending on the skills you can offer.
You will need to be able to work effectively as part of a close knit team, be highly motivated and organised with great attention to detail and an ambitious nature.
While we expect this role to suit an engineering or computer science graduate, we will accept applications from undergraduates or graduates of any discipline - please demonstrate your suitability for the role in your application.
