OE VAG 4 BAR Manifold Absolute Pressure ( MAP ) Sensor also known as the Thrust Sensor

Direct OE Replacement VAG 4 BAR MAP sensor which is also known as the "Thrust Sensor" which measures air pressure within the boost pipes of your engine, as well as measuring the air temperature.

The 4 BAR Map sensor can be used as a direct replacement for part numbers on this listing.

It is also common practice to use the 4 BAR as an upgrade on many VAG / Porsche Diesel engines oppose to the standard 2.5 / 3 BAR sensors, this is the case when running higher boost pressures from an upgraded turbocharger.

Please only fit on the recommendation of your Tuning Specialist, incorrect installation may damage your engine.

We include an 18mm reducing bung which can be used for 18mm MAP sensor holes, if you have the 12mm MAP sensor hole you will require the 'Small Probe' sensor.
