Shipping to the USA (September 2025)
Update on Import Charges for US Orders
We want to keep you informed about recent changes to import regulations that may affect your order. As of 29th August 2025 the de minimis exemption has now ended, meaning customers may now see import charges applied to all international shipments, regardless of the order value.
The good news is that these charges are typically minimal, currently being reported at 10% of the order total.
This is on top of the standard tax rate:
- VAT: We do not charge UK VAT (20%) on US / Canada orders. Instead, import TAX is charged by your local customs authority at your country’s standard rate.
- Import Process: Couriers like DHL handle customs clearance and will contact you to pay TAX and any applicable charges before delivery.
We understand that unexpected fees can be frustrating, so we’re doing what we can behind the scenes to help keep these costs as low as possible.
So far, we’re happy to report that none of our customers have experienced unexpected charges or expressed any regrets about their purchase. We appreciate your continued support and understanding.
