On first inspection of our Audi A5 we found some excessive play in the front drive flange cup. We initially suspected bearing wear but after removing the gearbox we found the problem to be something else... Whilst the gearbox was out and the fact it wasn't a 2 minute job to do so, we also decided to replace the Flywheel for a new unit.
