Maxton Design develops each splitter, side skirt and diffuser around the specific car it is made for. The shapes follow the original bumpers and body lines, giving your car a lower, sharper look that feels properly integrated.
Our range covers selected Audi, BMW, CUPRA, Ford, MINI, Porsche, SEAT, Škoda and Volkswagen models, with individual parts and Maxton Design kits available.
Darkside Developments supplies and professionally fits Maxton parts in-house. Our workshop and Paint and Body Shop teams handle the alignment and installation, giving you one place to order the parts and get them fitted correctly.
Maxton Design Ltd has been manufacturing exterior styling and aerodynamic components since 2006. The early days were all about fibreglass bumpers and spoilers. They created bold shapes, but getting them onto a car meant plenty of adjustment and paintwork.
Moving into ABS changed the way Maxton worked. The parts became lighter, the shapes became more precise and far less preparation was needed before fitting. Today, the company uses new developments like thermoforming machinery and 3D laser scanning, followed by hand-finishing and final quality checks.
Whether you are looking for Maxton Design BMW styling or a rear diffuser for an Audi, each product is developed for a specific vehicle and bumper shape.
Maxton Design Exterior Styling Parts
Our selected Maxton Design range includes:
Front splitters
Rear diffusers
Side-skirt extensions
Rear side splitters
Rear spoilers and spoiler caps
Front bumper extensions
Canards
Carbon styling components
Coordinated Maxton Design kits
Maxton splitters are usually the first port of call because they change the front of the car straight away. Add the matching side skirts and rear diffuser, and the styling works as one package instead of looking like three separate parts picked at random.
That is the appeal of Maxton body kits. Each piece is designed for the exact model and bumper, so the front, sides and rear follow the same shape and sit properly with the factory bodywork.
Most of the range is made from lightweight ABS, giving the parts a consistent finish and enough durability for a car that actually gets driven.

Why We Use and Recommend Maxton Design
“When you are fitting exterior styling parts, shape and alignment are everything. One wonky splitter or a diffuser that does not sit with the bumper can ruin the whole look. Maxton’s parts are moulded for the exact car and bumper, so the curve of the splitter, the length of the side skirts and the shape around the diffuser actually match the bodywork.
We have fitted enough cheap universal parts to know how quickly a bargain turns into hours of trimming and a finish nobody is happy with. With Maxton, you can fit one piece, and it looks intentional, or use matching front, side and rear parts without the car ending up like it has been built from three different kits. That's why we supply it and why we are happy to fit it to our own cars.”

Maxton Design FAQs
What are the benefits of adding exterior styling components to a car?
They let you change the stance and character of the car without replacing complete bumpers or getting into custom bodywork. A splitter can sharpen the front, side-skirt extensions pull the profile down, and a rear diffuser adds more shape around the exhaust and bumper.
The main advantage with Maxton is that the parts are developed around the original car. Done properly, the result looks like a considered package rather than a collection of extras.
Are Maxton Design kits made for specific models?
Yes. Maxton develops its parts for particular models, generations, body styles and variants. Two cars with the same badge may still need completely different parts if one is a facelift, M Sport, S line or another trim level.
Check the full vehicle and trim details before ordering rather than relying on the model name alone. If you are unsure of your model please contact us with your REG or VIN and a photo of your vehicle.
Can Darkside Developments fit Maxton Design parts?
Yes. We professionally fit Maxton front splitters, side-skirt diffusers, rear side splitters, rear diffusers and spoiler caps purchased through Darkside.
Fitting starts from £59, with the final price depending on the vehicle and the work required. Our workshop and Paint and Body Shop teams handle the positioning, alignment and secure installation.
