02M/02Q 6 Speed Gearbox Mounts for MK2 / MK3 Golf Platform Vehicles

This Gearbox Mounting Kit enables fitment of the Mk4 Golf 02M / 02Q Gearbox to a Mk2 / Mk3 Platform Vehicle

These mounts are laser cut and then bent in a specially made jig for accuracy. They are Nickle Coated to prevent corrosion but you can also paint over this if required

When fitting this kit to one of the above vehicles, the mounting cup on the subframe will have to be cut, re-positioned and welded to stop the gearbox output flange fouling against the mounting cup. You can use the mount in this kit to find the new position of the mounting cup.

This kit also includes the front support mount which locates around the starter motor and bolts to the original MK2/3 front mount. The allows the original front mount to be used without modification or welding.

Stock MK2 Hubs (4 Stud)
MK3 Golf Hubs (4 Stud)

MK1 TT Hubs and Wishbones Wide Track (5Stud) (Different Coilovers)

Ibiza / Fabia 6 Speed Drivers Side Shaft with Mk4 Golf Outer CV
MK4 Golf 6 Speed Passenger Side Shaft
