VAG 6 Speed Manual / 0A5 / 02M / 02Q / Gearbox Input Shaft Shim Kit and End Cap

This kit is to eliminate in and out input shaft play on the 6 Speed 02M / 02Q / Transporter Gearboxes

A common Fault with these gearboxes is axial play in the input shaft

This play can cause various issues such as creeping in gear, hard to select 1st or reverse and in some cases gearbox failure

Prior to ordering please inspect your gearbox to check the end cap size

These parts can be installed without removing the gearbox, accessible via the front left wheel arch For gearboxes without the plastic end cap the input shaft would need shimming from inside the gearbox

PLEASE NOTE:

These will not fit models with the metal end casing
PLEASE CHECK THE SIZE REQUIRED BEFORE PURCHASING

This Kit Includes

1x Genuine VW 79.35mm End Cap

OR

1x Genuine VW 84.5mm End Cap

3x 0.65mm Input Shaft Shims (Depending on the amount of movement not all shims may be needed)
