Dry-Break Bleed Kit for AP Racing Pro 5000 R Brake Calipers

An Affordable Dry-Break Bleed System, Designed for use with AP Racing Brake Calipers with M10 x 1.0mm Bleed Nipple Thread

The male dry bleed valve is fitted in place of the bleed screw, and once fitted there should be no need to loosen or remove the coupling unless it is being replaced

The male coupling is basically a valve that is opened when the female bleed valve coupling is connected to it. The female coupling is connected to a bleed pipe and container allowing brake fluid to be pushed through the system to bleed it.

Another advantage of the dry bleed system is that it removes the possibility of introducing air into the system via bleed screws when vacuum bleeding.

When fitting the dry bleed valve in to the caliper a small amount of Loctite 270 should be applied to the thread and the coupling tightened to a torque of 13Nm.

Please Note:

Fitting the dry bleed system may affect the radial profile of the caliper. It is therefore essential that the clearance between the caliper assembly and wheel is checked carefully prior to running the car
This dry bleed system may also be compatible with other calipers with M10 x 1mm bleed nipple thread, however, we can not 100% guarantee this
This bleed kit is only designed for bleeding the calipers and not for use at high pressure
