Quaife ATB Helical Limited Slip Differential for VAG 4WD & FWD (FWD fitted with E-Diff ONLY) DQ381 7 Speed DSG Gearboxes

A direct replacement for the standard open differential, the Quaife ATB Helical LSD transforms your cars performance and handling. Unlike a conventional plate-style limited slip differential, the Quaife ATB Helical LSD differential relies on gears rather than clutch plates for its operation, meaning it is much smoother in operation and has no wear items. This means the Diff is a fit and forget part, no rebuild is required for the life of the differential

PLEASE NOTE - For FWD vehicles, this diff is only comatible with vehicles fitted with E-Diff

Vehicles with E-diff will benefit from having the Quaife fitted too, as it takes some "work" off of the E-diff and gives overall a better driving experience

PLEASE NOTE:

This differential does not come with bearings
The gearboxes use a plastic caged ball bearing for each diff side, as opposed to a taper bearing therefore no shims are used. Bolts are supplied with the diff. Bearings at this time, are not available so customer will need to re-use the originals. One bearing race stays on the crownwheel, the other needs to be removed using a puller and pressed onto the new diff.
