CitiGo at the Ring

We have already discussed the preparation and journey of the CitiGo and A5, but figured it would be easier to separate the track time and videos for both cars, since we have so much footage!

The CitiGo arrived at the 'Ring later than the A5 as Ryan, Stef and Neil came across on the Easter Sunday crossing, getting them to the circuit around lunchtime on Monday. As with the A5, we decided to leave the CitiGo parked up whilst getting a feel for the track in the passenger seat!

You get a sneak peak of the CitiGo in Misha's video from the start of the day, as well as an idea of what other machinery was there

Misha had a couple of laps in the morning, making some suggestions for suspension tweaks

Being a trackday, we were able to use the full length of the straight to get over 160mph, with the new rear spoiler making the car feel super stable, even at those speeds so it was worth the effort before we went to get that done. Thanks Dan!.

Other than the incident with the kerb, the car was great all day, getting some bemused looks in the paddock! The suspension was a little stiff and the short narrow chassis is not perfectly suited to the circuit but it was a lot of fun.

As with the A5, we didn't stop when the trackday ended. We made our way over to the GP Circuit for a 15 minute session on there, using 1 lap of credit on the Green Hell Cards for each vehicle. The car was flying on track but some damage sustained from the earlier incident seemed to get worse so after 10 minutes out of 15 the pace was slowed a little

We will be releasing a full walk around of the CitiGo shortly!
