Bigger BIG TURBO TIME!! - AUDI A5 3.0 TDI QUATTRO PROJECT
In this Vlog we decide 425+hp is just not enough and attempt to bolt on a turbo from Truck three times larger than the 3 Litre engine our daily driving A5 project has from the factory. We have come a long way from the standard 240bhp and the current stock frame turbo is now our limit so we have to look to the truck industry for something bigger.
After a bit of research, a GTC3579VK was sourced and our in-house fabrication guru Dan set to work making it fit.

New Diesel FWD World Record - Santa Pod - 28th & 29th May 2019
Last year with the Arosa was a disappointing one, mainly because we only managed to do just over 30 runs at Santa Pod over the full year, as we didn't get chance to do anything with it until BugJam in July. SRS Automotive 2.0 TDI CR DSG 4Motion Caddy Race Van Build
It has been a long time coming, we finally managed to get all the photos organised for the build of the SRS Automotive Caddy, which is a 2.0 16v CR with a DQ500 DSG Gearbox and 4-Motion.
When we first built the Caddy back in 2011, it was a 2.0 BKD with a GTB1756VK, pushing 220bhp (165kW) & 350Ft/lbs (475Nm), which is the spec we took it down the strip at Santa Pod in April 2012, where it did a 15.7s @ 89.25mph. Not bad to say it was being used to bring all the spares down!

DONINGTON PARK TRACK DAY - LAST MINUTE PROBLEMS!!! - AUDI A5 3.0 TDI QUATTRO PROJECT
Back on the track...
After regaining the full potential of the A5 (Part 18 Blog) we wanted to get it back on the track and see how much and where we had improved.
Apart from Spa and the Nurburging, the only other track we had driven in the A5 was Donington Park, so we booked on an evening session with Circuit Days and prepped the car.

Snetterton 300 - 12th May 2019 - Round 2 - MSV Trackday Championship
After a great opening round of the MSV Trackday Championship, which we discussed in our blog, and the terrible accident in the TDT on the same day, also discussed in this blog, we had a LOT of work to do to get the car ready for the next race.
