Brand New Hybrid Shallow Sump for 1.9 and 2.0 TDI VW Engines

Hybrid Steel and Alloy Shallow Sump for 1.9 8v & 2.0 16v TDI Engines

We have found that on some Mk5 platform vehicles, the sump baffle is not compatible with our Hybrid Shallow Sump. This can be modified to fit or we can supply the correct part number: 038103623.

Please Note: This will only fit SDI & VE models that come with an Aluminium Sump as standard. (It does not fit models with a Steel Sump)

Gives around 11mm of extra clearance

Perfect for lowered cars

Made from steel to avoid cracking

This sump gives around 11mm of extra clearance, however the main benefit is that the bottom is made from Steel rather than Alloy, so it will bend rather than cracking under impact

The sump does not have an Oil Level Sensor, so this will need to be coded out using VCDS

PLEASE NOTE:

On the TDI Engines, the Oil Return goes into the ENGINE BLOCK so you do not need any additional parts to fit this to a TDI

PLEASE NOTE:

In order to fit this sump on the Mk5 1.9 & 2.0 TDI Engines, you will be required to remove the bracket for the O/S boost pipe. Once removed, this part will fit as normal.
