Performance Camshaft Kit for 1.9 & 2.0 8v TDI PD Engines

Bolt-on Performance Camshaft for 1.9 and 2.0 8v TDI PD Engines + 15-25bhp

This is a Performance kit using the best quality components available for the PD Engines

After months of testing we have designed the best profile camshaft that can be dropped into a stock Engine (in regards to Valve Clearance and Valve Springs), whilst giving the best gains possible, across the full rev range

Although piston modification should not be necessary with this camshaft we recommend double checking all clearances prior to running the engine. We cannot account for all possible piston, block, head, head gasket combinations / changes



  • Works with Stock Valve to Piston Clearances (must be timed accurately to avoid issues)
  • PD Injector Lobe Modified to Support Higher RPM's
  • 15-25bhp Increase Over Stock Camshaft (with software changes)
    • The modified PD Lobes require changes in the Injection Timing and Quantity Maps to ensure the car will start smoothly and quickly

    Please Note:

    The gains mentioned above are only valid if you have reached the limit of the stock camshaft (~250-260bhp) and have a Turbocharger capable of supporting the extra power. We have tested the camshaft at lower power levels (~220bhp) and did not notice any measurable gain. However, if your camshaft is worn and needs replacing, there is no negative effect to changing for this camshaft, in anticipation of future modifications. Dyno Graph in Images is on a 'Smokey' Tune

    This Kit Consists of:

    Custom Steel PD Camshaft (Not chilled cast iron) (Choose from options):

    Fast Road - 9.64mm lift (+.75mm) and 272 Degrees Duration (+19 from stock) - Upgraded PD Lobe
    (No machining is required on this camshaft option)

    Race - 9.64mm lift (+.75mm) and 272 Degrees Duration (+19 from stock) - Aggressive PD Lobe
    (The pistons may require valve pockets machining when installing this option)

    Black Top Lifters
    Glyco Camshaft Shell Bearings
    Elring Teflon Camshaft End Seal
    Tandem Pump Gasket / Seal

    To compliment a full head build we also sell Rosten Dual Springs to get benefts of RPM increase. The Springs cannot be fitted without removing the Cylinder Head. Shop Here:
