TOO MANY WHEELS??? - AUDI A5 3.0 TDI QUATTRO PROJECT

In part 9 of our A5 Vlog, we talk about the wheel and tyre choices we have made.

Yes, we have too many wheels for one car. 23 in total!

The road wheels were picked by YOU, with a clear favourite being the BBS CH-R in 20" x 10.5" ET25.

Thanks to our friend at Nankang for supplying us with a set of their new high performance road tyre, the AS-2+ in 275/30R20.

Since we plan to take the car on various Road Trips, with some track driving involved, we opted for some lightweight and track focused Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s in 18x9" ET15. Again the guys at Nankang helped us out with a set of their Road Legal NS-2R Track tyres in 265/35R18. These should serve us well at Spa and the Nurburgring in April!

Then for full on track mode, we dropped on 2 sets plus 2 spares of ex-BTCC Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s in 18"x10" ET30. We have a set of used 265/660/R18 Dunlop Sport Maxx Hard BTCC Slicks and 265/660/R18 Dunlop BluResponse BTCC Wets for when slicks would be a bad choice!
